Monjur Sharif

Monjur Sharif is a cybersecurity professional and security researcher with a career spanning vulnerability research, application security, cybercrime investigation, and digital security. He began his journey in cybersecurity in 2018 through bug bounty research, building his expertise through hands-on security research and responsible vulnerability disclosure.

Over the years, Monjur has earned 150+ international recognitions and Hall of Fame acknowledgements from globally recognized technology companies for identifying and responsibly reporting security vulnerabilities. His work as a security researcher has contributed to strengthening the security of widely used digital platforms and services.

Monjur is the Founder and Head of Operations at ZeroRisk Cybersecurity, where he leads cybersecurity operations and works with organizations, brands, and digital platforms on security assessment, protection, incident response, and cyber risk management.

His professional experience also extends to the public sector. He has contributed to various projects and initiatives of the ICT Division of the Government of Bangladesh and has worked as an IT Consultant with the Criminal Investigation Department (CID), Bangladesh Police, supporting cybersecurity, cybercrime analysis, digital investigation, and technology-driven law-enforcement initiatives.

As an independent security researcher, Monjur has conducted security research for platforms including Meta, and has worked as a Web Application Security Analyst for Spotify, focusing on identifying and responsibly disclosing security vulnerabilities.

Driven by a strong interest in security research and real-world cyber defense, Monjur continues to work across the evolving landscape of cybersecurity, vulnerability research, application security, digital investigations, and cybercrime prevention, with a focus on helping organizations build safer and more resilient digital environments.
